James Franco To Join The Superhero-verse With 'Multiple Man' Movie

James Franco Set To Play Multiple Man In A New Standalone X Men Movie 1

The Hollywood Reporter revealed that James Franco is in talks to join the 20th Century Fox's X-Men franchise as Jamie Madrox, the Multiple Man, in his own spin-off movie. The deal reportedly came out of another collaborative effort between Kinberg and Franco, The Hardy Men, a film that may see James and Dave Franco playing adult versions of the famous child detectives The Hardy Boys.

The 127 Hours star will also produce the project alongside Simon Kinberg, while Wonder Woman writer Allan Heinberg is now working on the script.

Multiple Man was created by Len Wein and first appeared in Giant-Size Fantastic Four #4 back in 1975.

At half-time, however, he fainted in the Albiceleste dressing room and had to be taken for hospital for routine tests . The Super Eagles then added three goals in the second-half through Arsenal's Alex Iwobi (2) and Brian Idowu.

Luckily, thanks to the wildly complicated timeline of the X-Men films, it would be pretty easy to act like Dane's version of the character never happened.

If Franco signs on to the movie, it will serve as a reunion for him and Kinberg, who he is also working with on The Hardy Men.

Multiple Man is the latest movie to expand the Fox Studios X-Men movie universe, which also includes the upcoming X-Men: New Mutants movie, Deadpool 2 film and X-Men: Dark Phoenix, with additional movies in development including Deadpool 3, X-Force and Gambit. Basically, mixing Franco, Kinberg and Heinberg into one movie is the best sandwich you could ever ask for. Yum. However, with The Last Stand butchering stories for the likes of Mystique, Angel, and Juggernaut, Multiple Man was the least of anyone's worries in the grand scheme of things. While not the most iconic mutant, Multiple Man's ability to duplicate himself would certainly make leeway for an interesting film.
