Rickie Fowler closed with a blistering 61 to finish at 18-under 270 for the weekend to claim the Hero World Challenge title. Woods was able to post scores of 69-68-75-68, and while the course wasn't as hard as typical championship venues on the PGA Tour, three under par rounds is certainly a positive step for Woods.

Fowler began the final round seven strokes back from overnight leader Charley Hoffman, but surged up the leaderboard with a lightning start to his Sunday in the Bahamas.

That was just one of the shots that delighted an enthusiastic gallery following the 14-time major champion that included Spanish tennis star Rafael Nadal. "I really drove the ball a lot better than I was thinking, especially distance-wise".

"If he continues along this way, the one thing I learned from my 10 years with Tiger is never say never with Tiger Woods".
