Neligh mourns Sydney Loofe - a 'good friend' and a 'very sweet girl'

Sydney Loofe reportedly went on a date before she vanished

A United States woman who vanished last month after going on a Tinder date has been found dead by police, her family says.

The Lincoln woman was reported missing November 16, and Lincoln police had said she was last seen the night before in Wilber.

Police have said she was last seen the night before in Wilber, after apparently going on a date with Boswell, whom she met through the online dating app Tinder.

Lincoln Police Chief Jeff Bliemeister told reporters during a news conference Tuesday that "analysis of digital evidence" led authorities to the female body, which they believe is that of Sydney Loofe. Several law-enforcement agencies including the Federal Bureau of Investigation have been involved in the search.

A post Monday night on the Finding Sydney Loofe Facebook page, run by the young woman's family "It's with heavy hearts that we share this most recent update with you all..." May God grant eternal rest unto thee. We love you Sydney, ' the statement reads. The couple had lived in close-by Wilber, yet left Nebraska after Loofe vanished, as indicated by the daily paper.

The Lincoln woman was wearing a cream-coloured shirt and a light Columbia-brand jacket when she sent her friends a Snapchat with an emoji and an anticipatory caption: "Ready for my date". She was reported missing the next day.

Boswell's roommate, Aubrey Trail, is also considered a person of interest and is in custody.

The two posted a freaky video on the Finding Sydney Loofe Facebook page last week claiming they tried to reach out to the police, but never heard back. This media house does not correct any spelling or grammatical error within press releases and commentaries.

President Trump shrinks national monuments
A smaller group gathered in support, including some who said they favor potential drilling or mining there that could create jobs. The reductions Zinke announced on Tuesday are smaller than those Trump approved on Monday.

"We're continuing to speak with Aubrey Trail and we'll continue to do so as long as he's willing to do that", Bliemeister said, adding that the paid had not been charged as of early Tuesday in Loofe's disappearance.

Loofe's cell phone was last pinged in Wilber, NE, where one of the two has an apartment.

Boswell, who was sought on a failure to appear warrant in a drug case, lives in Trenton, Missouri, the Nebraska records say.

Sydney Loofe shared a Snapchat story with the caption "ready for my date" before she was last seen in Wilber, Nebraska, on November 15.

Police said they were still working to confirm those details, according to the Daily Beast.

Bliemeister said the area has been closed off now by law enforcement so officers can thoroughly investigate the site.

Loofe, a Neligh native, moved to Lincoln after graduating high school in 2011 as part of a transfer in her employment with Menards, her mother, Susie, said. Both nights, she says she picked Loofe up at her home and the two drove around Lincoln smoking weed. They add: 'Our thoughts and prayers are with the Loofe family'.

Trail said he objected to the reporting on his criminal background, which includes a conviction for grand theft in 2000.
