England cricketer dumped after drunken antics

Ali has struggled for form during the tour

Ben Duckett, the Northamptonshire batsman, was stood down from England's two-day tour match in Perth this weekend and is now facing an internal disciplinary hearing following the latest late-night drinking incident to mar their current Ashes tour.

They will not include vice-captain Anderson, who England feel was an innocent party in the shenanigans on the first night that England had relaxed the curfew imposed after Bairstow's "head-butt" on Cameron Bancroft came to light.

This clip was first broadcast on 5 live Sport, Saturday 9 December 2017.

England now trail Australia 2-0 in the Ashes series, with three Tests to play. "It's just not right, it's not acceptable", Bayliss said on Saturday.

It is believed Duckett was with members of the Lions and full Test squad during Thursday's night out.

"I'm not sure exactly what more I can say, so I'm sure there will be some stern words from above".

There was no police involvement in the matter and it is an investigation that is likely to be concluded within the next 24 hours, but while it is on the minor side of things, it is the latest in a long line of embarrassing incidents surrounding the national cricket team.

Pope Francis calls for change to 'temptation' line in Lord's Prayer
Rev Cooper explained: "This is a reminder that God does not lead us into temptation , but gives us the strength to resist it when it comes".

"I'm here to coach the team and I end up spending most of my time in front of cameras trying to explain some behaviour that the boys have been warned about", Bayliss added.

The 23-year-old Duckett made his Test and ODI debut in Bangladesh in 2016 but previously has lost the U-19 captaincy due to a failed fitness test and missed a tour in 2015 for similar reasons and also appeared in court on a drink-driving charge. "Everyone's been warned that even small things can be blown out of all proportion and the European Central Bank have also been quite strict to the boys with their message, so it's quite simply unacceptable".

It was the first evening after European Central Bank director of cricket Andrew Strauss agreed to a relaxing of the curfew slapped on the Test squad a fortnight ago.

"I'm disappointed. First of all we will find out what has happened".

"I'm sure they'll be able to get on with it (and focus on the third Test that starts on Thursday)".

Stokes may yet be brought into the England side at some point in the series.

The antics comes as the latest embarrassment for English cricket, after Ben Stokes was arrested on suspicion of actual bodily harm outside a Bristol nightclub back in September.
