Meghan Markle was 'shortlisted' to be the next Bond Girl

Meghan's family begun speaking out about the statement nearly immediately with new reports her father, Thomas Markle Snr, is "deeply hurt" by the comment.

We have learned that in order for her to become more royal-like, Meghan Markle has made a decision to change a few things about herself in the new year!

After guest editing the BBC's flagship radio news program, Today, the Prince said his family had loved having Meghan with them for Christmas and that his was "the family she never had". Enter Samantha Markle, the actress' half-sister from their father's first marriage, who made sure to chime in the first chance she got.

"He dedicated the majority of all his time and everything to her", Meghan's brother said about her father.

Thomas Markle Jr, from Grants Pass, Oregon, has rebuked Prince Harry for his comments after his sister spent Christmas with the royals at Sandringham in Norfolk, England.

The Sun reports that, prior to her November engagement to Prince Harry, the actress was on the shortlist to play the next Bond girl.

Thomas went on to claim that Meghan's family are just like any other and always made a big deal out of birthdays, Christmas and Thanksgiving.

Children From Neosho Killed In Crash In Newton County
The patrol has identified the victims as 2-year-old Isaac Verde, 4-year-old Benjamin Verde and 7-year-old Eric Verde from Neosho. An ABC11 crew at the scene said there were "possible injuries" in a head-on crash between two passenger vehicles.

Grant reacted angrily to Prince's comments and said her loved ones "always" supported her growing up but she was "too busy" for them. Which is good, because marrying a prince doesn't actually make you a princess, it makes you a duchess, probably, it's up to Her Maj what title you actually get, at least in England. She was very privileged.

Prior to becoming one half of one of the world's most headline-grabbing romances, Meghan was a successful actress, and had roles in movies as well as her long-running part in hit U.S. TV show Suits.

Royal fans - especially those from cities - may find it tricky to emulate the famous family on 31 December, since the Queen usually enjoys riding on one of her horses to start the New Year.

"Meg's family (our family) is complete with sister, brother, aunts, uncles, cousins, and the glue of our family, our fantastic completely self-sacrificing father".

"Obviously, she had a family".
