Outage at Customs and Border Protection leads to long lines at airports

According to the standed passengers, the delay was because the computer system to check passports, operated by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection, had failed.

It said that all airports were back online after the outage lasted from 7.30 p.m.to about 9.30 p.m.

It's a rough night for worldwide travelers at Miami global Airport.

Other airports, including Denver International Airport, also said they were affected.

Travellers who were at the John F. Kennedy International Airport in NY and Miami International Airport in Florida took to social media to share photographs of long queues at the airports.
