LG Introduces Compact 4K Projector That Can Create 150-inch Screen

It is a compact and upright device that can create a huge 150-inch screen on your wall.

LG announced their first 4K Ultra HD LED projector will debut at CES 2018, model HU80KA. That picture can get awfully bright, too; LG says it tops out at 2,500 lumens, which makes it the company's brightest projector yet and puts it on par with what's on the market today.

Carrying the model name HU80KA, the projector, according to LG, is created to provide users with a superior cinematic experience without having to compromise on the display quality.

LG touts that the company's engineers have challenged themselves to come up with the 4K projector that is smaller than the others on the market without letting down on the performance.

Danish webshop lists supposed Red Dead Redemption 2 release date
Once again, the time between now and the supposed release window is short, and yet there are no signs of a marketing push. A couple of days and we'll all be correcting our instinctive datings to 2018, and Spring is a lot closer than you think.

This projector also produces incredible sound as the South Korean tech company incorporated two 7W speakers for this device. It also allows the newest projector from LG to display flawless images no matter where it is positioned.

The projector's portable size and unique upright design is made possible by its mirrorless I-shaped engine, which allows the projector to show ideal images whether it is placed on the floor, mounted on the wall or hanging from the ceiling. Also, it can be connected to external speakers or soundbars through optical output, Bluetooth or HDMI. We can expect the HU80KA projector to be showcased at the show floor in Las Vegas in the next week. LG isn't clear on just how far from the wall you need to be for a 150-inch image.

The LG HU80KA, as it's called, is portable enough to be lifted by the handle and placed anywhere. Alongside, it also supports HDR content (HDR-10) and LG's webOS 3.5 smart TV interface that offers access to popular video streaming services that also feature 4K video content.

With the announcement of the LG HU80KA, LG did not mention any pricing or availability for this projector.
