ESPN's Katie Nolan Blasts 'F**king Stupid Person' Donald Trump

While Nolan's comments occured on a talk show and not on Twitter or Facebook her attempt to quickly explain away her outburst may have been due in part to ESPN's social media guidelines for journalists

In December, ESPN's front-facing employees attended a mandatory meeting at the company's headquarters in Bristol, Conn., to discuss the network's future and review its new policies on social media and political commentary.

Unlike their decision with Jemele Hill, a rep for ESPN told TMZ.com that leading sports network will not be suspending Katie Nolan for her comments.

After one of the hosts refers to Trump's habit of giving the thumbs up, Nolan shoots back "Well that's because he's a [expletive]".

Desus said the thumbs-up is now associated with white supremacy because President Trump often uses it in photo-ops. The network adds that "they were inappropriate and we have addressed it with her". But it was obviously worse than "f-ing stupid person".

But Nolan's comments don't technically violate the social media guidelines since they were not delivered on social media.

Time travel? Flight takes off in 2018, lands in 2017
This happened due to a takeoff delay, and a quirk in the time zones that define the world. The flight crossed the global date line, causing the alleged time travel.

Nolan mentioned that she had the flu when she made the comments.

Nolan began working at ESPN in mid-October after a four-year stint at Fox Sports.

In the fall, ESPN implemented new social media guidelines for its staff stating that employees should avoid "personal attacks and inflammatory rhetoric" and 'refrain from overt partisanship or endorsement of particular candidates, politicians and political parties, ' Sporting News reported. Fast-forward to the 13:00 mark for her Trump comments.

Katie Nolan could be putting ESPN's new political policy to the test by calling President Donald Trump a "f-- stupid person".
