Arsenal are leaving no stone unturned in Aubameyang's pursuit and have now offered an improved bid for the German giants to consider.

Aubameyang's future has been a subject of speculation ever since the forward has demanded to leave Dortmund almost a year ago.

That comes in the form of the clubs interest in signing Borussia Dortmund frontman Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Arsenal have had their latest bid for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang - a bid that was reportedly £50 million - rejected.

The Gabon global was named as a potential target for Arsenal last week as the Gunners started to plan for life without Chile worldwide Alexis Sanchez.

The money on offer at Arsenal is playing a huge role in the decision making of the striker, who has left most of the Dortmund squad and the hierarchy exhausted with his off field antics.

Manchester United is becoming Paul Pogba's team: Jose Mourinho
I look at every appointment this season and people have doubted them. "I think it is (one of proudest moments of my career)". Jose Mourinho is set to extend his contract with Manchester United , sources have confirmed to ESPN FC.

Giroud has been a regular for Arsenal in the cup competitions as well as the Europa League but has been lacking game time in the Premier League, after the purchase of fellow French forward Alexandre Lacazette from Lyon in the summer.

Wenger revealed on Monday that he is neither "confident or not confident" about completing the signing.

"We have plenty of opportunities in different positions, you know, so the final decision is not made".

Aubameyang has endured a controversial season so far at Dortmund, having been dropped from the side on three occasions for disciplinary reasons, and was absent from Dortmund's 1-1 draw at home to Hertha Berlin on Friday night.

"At the moment we are not close to any deal, Aubameyang or anybody else".
