Raul Johnson Gonzalez missing: Federal Bureau of Investigation joins search for boy who vanished barefoot

The family of a missing Scotland County boy are praying for his safe return

Investigators believe they have found the body of a 4-year-old in Scotland County who had been missing for four days.

The body was found in a pond off of Peabridge Road.

Detective Sgt. Jessica Sadovnikov with the Scotland County Sheriff's Office said that Raul has wandered around his family's property before, which has a chicken coop and several trailers and sheds, but emphasized that he has never gone so far as to leave the property.

It was previously unclear if crews had already started draining the pond near the missing boy's home in Laurinburg.

"I just don't know what to feel", Kersey said. Jason Kaplan, a supervisory special agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, said: "We've deployed assets from all over North Carolina and from the Federal Bureau of Investigation headquarters to include our Child Abduction Rapid Deployment Team".

For example, users could view virtual, interactive exhibits in museums or animate images in movie posters, according to Apple. This will launch in United States with support of select businesses like Discover, Hilton, Lowe's and Wells Fargo .

Authorities said that this wasn't the first time that Raul had walked away from his home.

Note: Investigators first said the boy's name was Raul Johnson, but referred to him as Gonzalez Friday.

Law enforcement officers have blocked local roads to check IDs. "Just hoping he's still out there", said Annie Johnson. The neighbor spoke with the child and told him to go home. More than a dozen ground search teams combed the area Friday. He was last seen wearing white and orange tiger striped shirt with tigers on it and white trousers with rocket ships printed on them. The FBI and SBI have joined the effort in an attempt to locate the missing boy. Kersey said he went to a neighbor's house. "Raul is still considered missing ... and that's where we are at this moment", Kersey said.

Raul is described as Indian, approximately 3 feet tall, weighing 38 pounds.

Anyone withinformation regarding Raul is asked to call the Scotland County Sheriff's Office at 910-276-3385, or call 911.
