EPA Chief Frightened Trump Would Be 'Abusive To The Structure'

EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt

"After meeting him, and now having the honor of working for him, it is abundantly clear that President Trump is the most consequential leader of our time", Pruitt said Tuesday, according to the agency's statement.

The Trump administration has, but it must replace many of those rules so long as the endangerment finding stands.

"I believe Donald Trump in the White House would be more abusive to the Constitution than Barack Obama - and that's saying a lot", Pruitt said on the Pat Campbell Show.

When President Donald Trump brags about all the regulations his administration has cut, he has Scott Pruitt to partially thank.

As for Trump, Pruitt obviously made these comments before he knew the president would give him the opportunity to accomplish his career goal of destroying the EPA.er, I mean, of reversing some of the regulations like the Clean Power Plan that were among Obama's allegedly unlawful sins. Sheldon Whitehouse read from a transcript of the interview and asked administrator Pruitt if he remembered it.

Regarding the content of his 2016 remarks, Pruitt said at the hearing he does not "echo that today at all".

Raul Johnson Gonzalez missing: Federal Bureau of Investigation joins search for boy who vanished barefoot
Anyone withinformation regarding Raul is asked to call the Scotland County Sheriff's Office at 910-276-3385, or call 911. Law enforcement officers have blocked local roads to check IDs. "Just hoping he's still out there", said Annie Johnson.

Pruitt put out another statement after the hearing.

Those orders have been the basis of administrator Pruitt's biggest decisions in the year since he took over the Environmental Protection Agency. After President Trump announced the US would withdraw from the Paris Climate Agreement, Pruitt called the decision, "courageous". "The President has liberated our country from the political class and given America back to the people".

Meanwhile, Republicans on the committee had nearly universal praise for Pruitt, saying he has lifted the regulatory burden placed on companies by the Obama administration.

Pruiit also agreed with a characterization repeated by Campbell of Trump as "our bully" for the GOP.

Additionally, the junior U.S. Senator from Iowa recalled a previous conversation with Pruitt last August where they discussed moving functions of the EPA and other federal agencies out of Washington, D.C.to regions across the nation where the decisions are felt firsthand. "He goes to the disaffected, those individuals, and says, 'Look, you give me power, and I will give voice to your concerns.' And that's a risky place to be".

"I think he has tendencies that we see in emerging countries around the world where - he goes to the disaffected - those individuals, Pruitt said".
