Metal Gear Survive's Launch Trailer Shows Big Baddies and Base Building

Xbox One X

Looking past all problems that came along with Metal Gear Survive launch, the team released a launch trailer showing what the game has to offer.

As soon as Metal Gear Survive was announced I pretty much knew microtransactions would be involved, and it's no surprise that Konami is chasing the revenue model.

Konami has come under a lot of controversy for releasing this spin-off title from fans beloved Metal Gear series which was originally created by Hideo Kojima (who was sacked from Konami). It features a co-op multiplayer mode in which player can be joined by up to 3 players (or play solo - in solo, the player will be joined by 3 AI team-mates). According to multiple sources and Konami, the game will inquire a good set of skills for more comfortable progress, which players may found quite challenging. Metal Gear Survive is a spin off from the main Metal Gear Solid V story that takes place in a odd alternative universe.

Groves vs Eubank Jr
Though it was bloody and brutal, it was not one for the purists, with Eubank Jr wildly swinging in an attempt to turn the tide. Afterwards he bemoaned the cut he sustained from an accidental clash of heads.

While the beta is live through February 18, you'll be able to access three different missions and two maps within the confines of co-op mode.

Konami developers are working on an update to fix this problem - Metal Gear Survive Update 1.02.

It is Xbox One X enhanced with HDR support. Metal Gear Survive was already fighting an uphill battle, and so one would have thought Konami would want to do all it could to avoid giving people more reasons to criticize the game.
