USA, European Union Violate Nuclear Deal, Iran Says

In early March, Reuters reported that European powers and Iran have started talks over Tehran's role in the Middle East and will meet again this month in Italy as part of efforts to prove to US President Donald Trump that they are meeting his concerns over the 2015 nuclear deal.

Iran honors its commitment to the treaty to limit its nuclear development plan as the International Atomic Energy Agency has certified on nine occasions.

Amano said United Nations inspectors had access to all required sites and between them now spend 3,000 calendar days a year working in Iran.

In his interview, Kamalvandi said that Iran has developed highly advanced centrifuges that are 24 times more powerful than the previous models used.

His statements have not been warmly received in Iran, with Zarif telling Monday's reformist Etemad newspaper: "In order to keep the United States in the Iran nuclear deal, European countries are suffering from extremism and this will ultimately undermine Europe's policy".

Iran has long said publicly that it intends to develop nuclear propulsion for naval vessels, though analysts and diplomats say this remains a distant prospect. It formally notified the IAEA of that intention in January in what was widely seen as a rebuff to pressure from Trump.

Netanyahu said the rest of the world should consider how Iran will act if it acquires an atomic arsenal, in light of its current destabilizing actions in the region.

Top Italian football captain Davide Astori dies unexpectedly
Former Roma manager Rudi Garcia tweeted: "The news of the untimely death of my former player Davide Astori pains me". A message posted from AC Milan's page read: "A man who loved football and who grew up as footballer with us".

The French minister had arrived in Iran on Sunday on a delicate mission to reaffirm Europe's support for a nuclear deal that opened Iran's economy, while echoing United States concern about Tehran's missile program and role in regional conflicts.

Iran has stayed within the deal's restrictions since Trump took office but has fired diplomatic warning shots at Washington in recent weeks.

Senior Iranian officials have repeatedly said that the country's missile program is purely defensive, stressing that it is not up to France or any other country to make decisions about Iran's defense issues.

Le Drian said that Paris is determined to implement the JCPOA and has taken many practical measures in this regard.

"Any move to undermine the JCPOA would result in the loss of credibility of other worldwide agreements, " Shamkhani said.

Le Drian said that both countries have new plans for boosting cooperation in monetary and banking interactions.

That continued with Iran's armed forces spokesman, Gen. Masoud Jazayeri, who this weekend said over the weekend that Tehran would only give up its missiles when the West abandons nuclear arms.
