BEHAR'S REGRET: Joy Behar FINALLY Apologizes After MOCKING Millions of Christians

Disney chairman & CEO Bob Iger may not be as strong a candidate to replace Bud Selig as MLB commissioner as once believed

"The View" co-host Joy Behar has come under fire for criticising the faith of United States Vice President Mike Pence and for saying that hearing from God is a form of "mental illness".

On 13th February, Behar, who's also a comedian, attacked Mr Pence's faith on "The View" after a clip was played with the former White House adviser Omarosa Manigault Newman claiming on a reality programme that "Jesus tells him to say things".

Behar said: "It's one thing to talk to Jesus. That's called mental illness". They both talked about how they were raised Roman Catholic, he said, and mentioned that Pence told Behar that he was confirmed in the church, taking the name "Christopher".

Reacting to the comment, Pence criticized ABC when asked about Behar's words, saying he wanted to just laugh about it but could not let it slide.

Because of the controversy surrounding the comment, Bob Iger, the CEO of Disney, which owns ABC, directed Behar to personally offer her apology to Pence.

"So I think Vice President Pence is right", Behar said.

On a Tuesday episode of the daytime talk show, co-host Behar reiterated the apology she made to the vice president in a private phone call.

DeVos' 60 Minutes Interview Is Not Going Over Well
According to a report by Education Trust-Midwest, schools in MI have experienced major declines in third-grade reading levels. DeVos responds that students "want a variety of things", that they "want solutions" instead of gun control specifically.

"It's one thing to talk to Jesus, It's another thing when Jesus talks to you", Behar quipped at the time.

"I'm still encouraging her to us the forum of that program or some other public forum to apologize to tens of millions of Americans who were equally offended", Pence said, adding that he was trying to defend his faith and the faith of others against "slander".

No matter how far Left she is, Behar revealed she agreed with the conservative Pence. She called me. She was very honest, and she apologized. Bozell's watchdog group is presently running a campaign on behalf of aggrieved Christians, urging that viewers contact "View" advertisers about Behar's "hateful, anti-Christian remarks".

Ms. Hostin, who identifies as Catholic, called Pence's Christianity "dangerous": "When you have a Mike Pence who now puts this religious veneer on things and who calls people values voters, I think we're in a unsafe situation".

Brian Flood covers the media for Fox News.

"I said to Joy, 'Of course, I forgive you". "Behar and ABC need to publicly apologize for the bigoted slurs on "The View".

Among the first to accept her apology: North Carolina-based evangelist Franklin Graham, who had called in a Tuesday Facebook post for her to publicly apologize.
