March 27 Apple event not to be live streamed

Connectivity Controls

Apple has also filed a patent a year ago in which the company proposed to make an iPhone which can open and close like a book.

Apple is also expected to update the Pencil product, the $99 drawing tool that now only works with the more expensive (starting at $649 and $749) iPad Pro models.

And we might not have to wait long for all the details on the new iPad 2018, as Apple is holding an event on March 27 (that's tomorrow) where it's rumored to be launching a new education-focused iPad.

Even the realm of classroom software management is a space where Apple now lags Google, which makes "G Suite for Education", a version of Google Apps for schools and teachers. Apple declined to comment.

Apple co-founder Steve Jobs made schools a priority for the company early in its life. But as the company has driven toward mass-market and higher-margin products in recent years, Google and Microsoft have had success breaking into classrooms with affordable laptops and tablets. Vanguard Group Inc owns $57.48 billion in Apple Inc., which represents roughly 6.71% of the company's market cap and approximately 11.07% of the institutional ownership. Laptops running Windows accounted for 22%. The cheaper Macbook is also rumored to come in at a price range under $1,000 dollars and many believe the MacBooth Air model will be the one to be revamped.

However given that the event is more of an education-focused event, perhaps Apple did not see the need to broadcast it to the public as maybe the general public isn't really the target audience. While this laptop is popular with college students, the model hasn't seen any major upgrades since 2010 - more than 7 years - as the company has concentrated on upgrading the higher-end, more expensive models of the MacBook. Loop Capital restated a "buy" rating and issued a $200.00 price objective on shares of Apple in a research note on Friday, December 22nd.

AAP govt tables Budget with green theme for unified pollution control
Of the Rs 13,997 crore budget allocation, Rs 13,328 crore is the revenue budget, and Rs 759 crore is the capital budget. All school managing committees will be given Rs 5 lakh each to strengthen libraries, arts education.

The tech giant is now hoping to once again attract young students with the new cheaper iPad. (NASDAQ:NMIH). Old West Management Limited Liability Company reported 2.33% of its portfolio in NMI Holdings, Inc. That's helped the iPad business return to growth after multiple declining quarters. In fact, the tablet market has gone down by 7% in the last one year. Armbruster Capital Management Inc. raised its stake in Apple by 9.4% during the 2nd quarter.

Apple now offers a slew of different education-related software. It isn't known how Apple will roll the content out to consumers, but it may be available through Apple Music if Carpool Karaoke and Planet of the Apps are any indications.

More software is coming.

In an invitation to the Chicago event, Apple said it will introduce "creative new ideas for teachers and students".

Google's Chromebooks, due to their affordable price tags, are quite popular in schools in the US. Apple may scorn the idea of "testing machines", but it also must promote the value of the iPad as something far beyond an low-priced, fragile e-reader. However, a deal to equip the Los Angeles school district with iPads ended miserably. The deal was expected to become a $1.3 billion initiative to give every student in the district an iPad, but it fell apart.
