CBSE question paper leak: Delhi Police arrest coaching centre owner, two teachers

The government is drawing flak from various quarters following reports of paper leak of SSC and CBSE exams

In the wake of the recent CBSE question paper leaks row, the Central Board of Secondary Education issued a notification, presaging students against the circulation of a fake class X Sanskrit question paper that is doing the rounds on social media.

Questioning the CBSE decision to cancel the exam and re-conduct it "merely based on unconfirmed apprehension that the question paper has been leaked in Delhi", he said unless there is evidence for "widespread and systemic leaking of papers, cancellation of examination of this magnitude is not the solution".

It is also said that the Delhi police have asked the Google for help in identifying the IP addresses of a person who had warned CBSE about the leak before the Maths exam was held. The student and his father are also being questioned. The Delhi Police had registered two cases in connection with the leaks.

The three were, reportedly, detained by the officials of the Crime Branch, which is investigating the case, after raids at various places across Delhi-NCR on Saturday.

Closer Greg Holland, Cardinals agree to deal
Holland - a three-time All-Star who led the National League in saves a year ago - had 41 saves for the Colorado Rockies in 2017. He is the last remaining top-tier free agent on a free agent market that has been slow developing.

Addressing the media, Union Education Secretary Anil Swarup said that a formal inquiry has been instituted to take swift action against the culprits. Role of the regional officer of the CBSE at Panchkula is mysterious.

He said a hand-written paper was leaked a day before the examination. The Police are analysing these complaints to ascertain whether they were acts of mischief or was there any truth to them.

The Crime Branch questioned over 60 people in connection with the CBSE leak case, including the administrators of over 10 WhatsApp groups on which the leaked question papers were shared.

Special Investigation Team (SIT), comprising two deputy commissioners of police, four assistant commissioners of police and five inspectors, has been strengthened with the addition of two more assistant commissioners of police and their teams.
