New Uprising Event in Overwatch Dated For April 10th

Overwatch | 50 minutes

Over on the game's official Twitter page, developer Blizzard Entertainment released a new teaser that indicates that the Uprising event will return to the game on April 10th, 2018, nearly one year after it first debuted in-game.

At the Payload Tour events, Blizzard promises a unique photo experience to "capture your inner hero", along with "never-before-seen Overwatch cosplay". "Uprising" is a major event in the game's lore as it depicts the team's liberation of Kingsrow from a heinous attack by the Omnix terrorist organization called Null Sector.

The teaser image hints that the event won't repeat a year ago and features new missions. The PvE Brawl mode features Reinhardt, Tracer, Torbjorn and Mercy and players are randomly assigned a character. It also gives those that missed out on the previous event a chance to earn those skins that they have previously missed out on. A teaser posted on Twitter (below) mentions King's Row and a declassification date on April 10.

Ibrahimovic's MLS debut 'possibly' as soon as Saturday: Coach Sigi Schmid
I've already brought my family so my wife can take care of the family, and I can take care of what I'm good at, playing football. Zlatan Ibrahimovic has revealed that he was ready to join LA Galaxy two years ago before Manchester United came calling.

In addition, the name of the event may be changed to Blackwatch Archives or simply Archives.

Alas, there's still no sign of that happening, but Blizzard said the event will reveal stories and secrets from the past, although whether there will be anything new to it, or just a rehash of what we learned last time around, isn't clear. The event itself will begin April 10th, which will take place within the map King's Row (shocker, right?). If you notice closely, when the video glitches it references a classified "File 00274" that was recorded eight years ago. Blackwatch worked along Overwatch and helped carry out missions, but the information stops there.
