Warriors' Patrick McCaw suffered lumbar spine contusion during Kings game

Police officers are seen outside the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento on Saturday

McCaw left Saturday's game against the Sacramento Kings after Vince Carter appeared to unintentionally undercut McCaw as he attempted a layup before crashing to the floor on his back, per Chris Haynes of ESPN.com.

Luckily, tests showed that McCaw didn't experience any structural damage from the fall and he was released from the hospital on Sunday. McCaw was taken off the court in a stretcher and immediately transported to UC Davis for "further evaluation". "I play this game because I love and enjoy it".

Prior to this unfortunate injury, McCaw recently returned after missing 13 consecutive games.

"We were very encouraged, but when we got there, he was not doing great", Kerr said on Sunday, per the Associated Press.

Players from both teams joined together in prayer once McCaw left the floor.

CBSE question paper leak: Delhi Police arrest coaching centre owner, two teachers
The Police are analysing these complaints to ascertain whether they were acts of mischief or was there any truth to them. The Delhi Police had registered two cases in connection with the leaks.

Soon after, Warriors players David West, Shaun Livingston and JaVale McGee went to the locker room to calm their emotions. Carter, who was given a flagrant-one foul, knelt nearby as medical personnel from both teams along with Warriors coach Steve Kerr rushed onto the court.

Kerr initially expressed anger toward Carter for his role in McCaw's fall, but as the severity of the situation became more apparent, Kerr came onto the court and consoled a visibly shaken Carter as they looked on at McCaw.

Kerr later was seen with his hand on Carter's back to console him. "Vince felt awful. I was out there next to [Carter]".

After the game, Warriors star forward Kevin Durant said he didn't believe Carter did anything dirty or intentional. I'm not mad at you, I'm mad at Vince. He's never been that type of guy. "Nobody in our locker room thinks Vince did that on goal". Freak accidents, things happen. I'm mad at Vince.
