The case comes less than two months after London police charged a man with a half-dozen offences, including sexual assault, for allegedly trying to extort a woman he'd met online on Feb 14.

The woman told police she was shocked that the "friend of a friend who needed a place to stay" for a few weeks suddenly tried to force his way into her bathroom while she was undressing, then grabbed her by her neck and raped her.

A female victim called police around 10:15 p.m.to the 200 block of Linden Avenue, where she told police she had been thrown to the ground and "inappropriately touched" by a male suspect. According to the police report, employees said, Stevens "almost always enters intoxicated and causes disturbances inside the store".
