Strong tornadoes possible in central USA; warmup arrives on East Coast

Washington D.C. could see temperatures reach 90 degrees on Friday

Populated areas, including Omaha and parts of Kansas City, will be impacted.

As storms continue into Wednesday night, we'll have to see how long the storms linger into Thursday morning which will which will be a key factor in how widespread the severe storms will be when they redevelop in the afternoon/evening hours before a cold front moves through giving us a dry and sunny Friday. Tornadoes, very large hail, and damaging winds are anticipated.

The severe threat begins to ramp up significantly Tuesday. We are monitoring the risk for severe weather starting this evening and lasting through Thursday evening where all modes of severe weather are possible.

One woman pointedly called Cosby a "serial rapist", and another asked him through her tears, "You remember, don't you, Mr. Harrison Snyder said it was the comedian's " own deposition" that made him come to his conclusion.

Damaging winds, large hail and strong tornadoes will be likely. The precise magnitude and location of the most-severe weather remains questionable due to the evolution of storms overnight.

Areas farther south, including a band between Dodge City and Wichita are in a slight risk for thunderstorm activity Tuesday. While some details remain uncertain, it appears increasing likely that a significant tornado threat will exist in this region by midweek. Temperatures in parts of the Great Lakes, Midwest, and mid-Atlantic - including Chicago, Detroit, Washington, D.C. and Philadelphia - will be around 10 degrees above average.

Ahead of the severe weather it will suddenly feel like summer for the Midwest and Northeast. This will be the start of several warm days for the Northeast, with plenty of sunshine. High temperatures on both days will likely be almost 20 degrees above average. By the end of this week, temperatures in the entire I-95 region will be nearing the upper 80s - with 90-degree readings possible locally.
