Cavaliers guard Jose Calderon, who used to play for the Raptors, stood in front of Drake during his exchange with Perkins.

The Toronto rapper, the Raptors' global ambassador, jawed with the inactive forward at halftime and after the final whistle in Cleveland's 113-112 overtime win Tuesday at the Air Canada Centre. A few days a go, the rapper and Kendrick Perkins had a heated moment during the game which resulted in security intervening.

According to USA TODAY Sports' Josh Peter, the National Basketball Association investigated the incident involving Perkins and Drake.

The NBA issued an official warning to Drake about 'the use of bad language, ' according to an article on Thursday by ESPN.

A video on Instagram emerged following the playoff game in which Cleveland players are seen walking to the locker room past where Drake was seated courtside.

The NBA does have a "Fan Code of Conduct" which talks of "creating a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable sports and entertainment experience". In the clip below, Drake can be heard saying "I never said that shit".

Perkins, asked about the warning issued to Drake, told ESPN's Dave McMenamin he was "here to support my teammates". Based on just the first game, and the Drake vs. Perkins near-fight, this series will probably have plenty more drama on the way for fans.
