Jammu andc Kashmir Trooper killed in Pakistan firing along IB in Jammu sector

A 28-year-old BSF jawan was killed as Pakistani troops opened fire at forward posts in Manguchak area on Tuesday to help infiltrators cross over.

He said that the terrorists had sneaked in using a tunnel.

He said this (infiltration attempts and Pakistani firing) was a "very serious incident" because it had happened ahead of the scheduled visit of prime minister to the state on 19 May.

I am sure that they will be detected and neutralised, Sharma said.

Referring to the latest incidents along the global border, Sharma said a group of five infiltrators may have sneaked in, while another attempt was scuttled.
