Hong Kong-born Kim Jong-un impersonator detained in Singapore

With Khukris Rifles Singapore's Gurkhas To Guard Trump Kim Summit

US President Donald Trump said on Thursday that his meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un in Singapore on June 12 is ready to go.

"Maybe we'll start with the White House".

Trump's comments came as he looked to reassure allies that he won't give away the store in pursuit of a legacy-defining deal with Kim, who has long sought to cast off his pariah status on the global stage.

The two options: Seek a freeze on North Korea's nuclear and missile programs through direct engagement, or increase pressure on North Korea through China. "I think I'm very well prepared". It's about willingness to get things done.

Trump and Kim will hold their historic meeting on Sentosa, off Singapore's main island, while Trump will reportedly stay in the five-star Shangri-La.

"I think it's a process", he said.

"The only ones sensitive about this are the media", he said.

Still he predicted he'll know very quickly whether Kim is serious about dealing with US demands.

"They. said they were going to go to nuclear war with us, they were going to defeat us in a nuclear war", Mr Rudy Giuliani told a Tel Aviv investment conference, according to the newspaper. If they don't denuclearise, that will not be acceptable.

When Real Madrid come calling, you have to listen at least
And in a social media post, Ronaldo was quick to pay tribute to departing Madrid coach Zidane. Without your support in the worst moments nothing we did would have been possible.

"We can't step through this over years, but rather need to acknowledge it will take some amount of time, that this doesn't happen instantaneously". "We are going to travel there", the US Secretary of State said.

Responding to a question, the U.S. president said it will be more than a photo-op. Perhaps I can get approval to put it out. "I told him that I. would never do this in Singapore because it is against your rules to protest", he told The Associated Press.

"I think I'm very well prepared. It's the opportunity to lay those out clearly between the two leaders so that we can see if we can find a path forward together that achieves the outcomes that both countries want", he said.

"They're a much different country over the last three months". Past administrations have also used a combination of sanctions and diplomacy to seek denuclearization, but the results failed to endure.

"The fact was no US president wanted to do this, and for good reason", he said.

Besides raining invective on the South and its leaders since he took power in Pyongyang in 2011, Kim has been accused of ordering the killing of his uncle and half-brother and of scores of officials suspected of disloyalty. Abe heads to Canada from here to attend the G7 Summit.

A combination photo shows U.S. President Donald Trump and North Korea leader Kim Jong Un in Washignton, DC, U.S. May 17, 2018 and in Panmunjom, South Korea, April 27, 2018 respectively. Trump pulled out of President Barack Obama's nuclear accord with Iran over the objections of European allies.

Abe has been pushing Trump to also address Japan's concerns about North Korea's short- and medium-range ballistic missiles and the issue of Japanese citizens abducted by Pyongyang decades ago. Trump said Abe talked about the abductees "long and hard and passionately, and I will follow his wishes and we will be discussing that with North Korea absolutely".

Trump is seeking to get North Korea to agree to denuclearize but acknowledged that is not likely to happen immediately.
