E3 2018: First Look at Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Gameplay

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey: First Details Leaked via Playstation Store.

New features include customizable gear that you can upgrade as you level and an ability system that is connected to the spear and how you use the spear in combat. There's a chance to see a number of Assassin's Creed Odyssey cutscenes, the new dialogue option feature, and some stealthy combat. The show kicked off with a choreographed routine to promote Just Dance 2019, which turned the cringe-ometer all the way up to eleven and featured a poor unfortunate soul in a panda suit. After a world premiere trailer that introduced Odyssey, we received our first look at its gameplay.

You can head over to the Ubisoft Store for a look at all of the Assassin's Creed Odyssey and decide whether you fancy any of them before the game launches on 5th October 2018. That's a huge change and I wonder how it will play out in the game.

This is the first time Ubisoft has done this with the Assassin's Creed series.

We got a few surprise announcements and saw a bit more of games we're already looking forward to playing in 2018 and beyond. You can be either Alexios or Kassandra.

The Elder Scrolls 6 Teaser Trailer Revealed At E3
The thirty-six trophies clearly mirrors Fallout Shelter's Xbox One achievements, so it doesn't appear to be for a new game. Players can work with or against other players as they try to survive, but a solo mode will still be available.

How well all of those elements will come together remains to be seen, but expect more details on Assassin's Creed: Odyssey as E3 2018 continues. But what you probably don't know is that Ubisoft has taken a leaf out of BioWare's book in terms of romance and friendship, why?

Last but absolutely not least, the stage moved to Assassin's Creed Odyssey.

A beta is still planned sometime before release on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

AC Odyssey will take place during the time period of ancient Greece, more specifically during the Peloponessian War, which is approximately 400 years before the events of Origins, the previous title in the series. In the meantime, check out both the gameplay and cinematic trailer below. Stay tuned to SegmentNext for coverage on the remainder of it with Sony and Nintendo's shows.
