Prince William adorably recreates Kate Middleton childhood photo

Britain's Prince William voiced horror over a Nazi death camp exhibit at Israel's Holocaust memorial in a sombre start on Tuesday to the first official British royal visit to Israel and the Palestinian Territories.

While the Duchess of Cambridge is at home with their three kids - Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis - the Duke paid tribute to his wife of seven years by recreating one of her childhood photos - over thirty years after it was taken!

Though the trip is being billed as non-political, and places a special emphasis on technology and joint Israeli-Arab projects, William will also be meeting with Israeli and Palestinian leaders, and visiting landmark Jerusalem sites at the heart of the century-old conflict.

He will stay in Jerusalem at the King David Hotel, the former headquarters of the British administration during the mandate in Palestine before the creation of Israel in 1948.

Before he embarked on the next leg of his journey, which includes Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territories, William couldn't pass up the opportunity to recreate a photo his wife took in that very spot over 30 years ago, when she and her family lived Jordan for three years.

The duke's visit comes during a period of increased tension in the region.

Yad Vashem chair Avner Shalev is guiding Prince William through the memorial's exhibitions detailing the death of six million Jews systematically killed by Nazi Germany and its collaborators during World War II.

Trump says GOP lawmakers 'wasting their time'
Two immigration bills under consideration in the House could address the separations, but the outlook for passage is dim. A federal court challenge has kept the DACA program running for now.

Britain captured Palestine from the Ottoman empire in 1917 during World War One and administered the territory under worldwide mandate until 1948, pulling out a day before Israel declared independence.

Accompanied by Britain's chief rabbi, he will lay a wreath in its Hall of Remembrance and meet two Holocaust survivors who were given refuge in Britain as children.

The correspondence was included in Yad Vashem's Kindertransport exhibit, as well as in Foner's memoir, a copy of which he said he hoped to present to Prince William.

Other members of William's family - including his father Prince Charles - have made unofficial visits to Israel and east Jerusalem in the past.

William, an avid soccer fan, arrived in Jordan on Sunday afternoon, at a time when the England-Panama World Cup game was under way.

However, The Sun reported William said she loved her time living in Jordan as a child and commented, "we'll have to bring the kids next time".
