Nice, we’re getting noise-canceling AirPods in 2019

Bloomberg: Premium AirPods, next-gen HomePod and new over-ear Apple headphones coming in 2019

The report also talks about Apple's plans to launch a new Homepod and a studio-quality over the ear headphones as well.

Those same sources added that Apple is putting together AirPods with water resistance (mainly against rain or sweat, not for swimming or anything like that) and noise-cancellation. A new report suggests that true next-generation AirPods won't arrive until 2019.

To get the new AirPods to the market faster than the original, Apple's likely to mix things up.

Tom Holland Reveals the Title of the New 'Spider-Man' Sequel
Anyway, we've got a title that seemingly confirms that Aunt May's heroic nephew will be venturing way beyond Forest Hills, Queens. Considering the events of Avengers Infinity War , the idea of having a Spider-Man movie seems next to impossible.

The improved AirPods are tipped to cost more than the current AirPods, which are now priced at £159, and will come with a wireless charging case that should work with Apple's delayed AirPower charger. The new AirPods will reportedly be pricier than their predecessor, potentially segmenting the AirPods line into two models, and is increasing its reliance on contract manufacturer Foxconn to improve production of the AirPods. Nonetheless, one of the tipsters said the model is still "likely" to cost more than the current $159 version. Apple has talked to Tymphany, a Primax Electronics subsidiary, about working with them to make the headphones; however, production has not started and the deal is not finalized. The existing AirPods are still scheduled to be refreshed with better wireless tech and "hands-free Siri activation" later this year, according to the report.

Apple wanted to release them at year's end, but it struggled to develop them, which forced the company to push back the launch to 2019, according to Bloomberg. The brand is said to be developing a wireless charging case which will be compatible with the AirPower charger, although the latter is reportedly still facing issues. Apple plans to remedy this issue by shaking up its supply chain. They'll utilize Apple branding and be positioned as a higher-end alternative to the company's Beats line. Apple introduced its first generation AirPods a year ago which allowed users to seamlessly connect to any Bluetooth-compatible smartphone, tablet or computer without needing any wires at all. An Apple spokeswoman declined to comment.
