The CD, which includes Elton John's hit single Rocket Man, will be presented by USA secretary of state Mike Pompeo to Kim along with a letter written by Trump, according to reports from South Korean newspaper Chosun Ilbo.

Per Korea's Chosun Ilbo, U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo arrived in North Korea Thursday for another high-profile meeting, and he brought along a gift from Trump to Kim in the form of a CD copy of Elton John's "Rocket Man".

Mr Pompeo's upbeat mood appeared to continue following the two sides' first meeting, which lasted three hours.

"Our leaders made commitments at the Singapore summit on the complete denuclearisation of North Korea", Pompeo had earlier told reporters travelling with him.

Pompeo would try to agree on at least an initial list of nuclear sites and an inventory that could be checked against the available intelligence, US intelligence officials told Reuters.

Trump's statements on the return of the remains of missing US troops have also been problematic.

It is Mr Pompeo's first visit to the country since Mr Kim's historic summit with Donald Trump in Singapore.

Belgium fight back from two down to beat Japan to reach quarters
They advanced from the group phase on fair play points and are intent on winning a last-16 tie for the first time ever. Belgium will now have a match against Brazil in the quarterfinal, where a 2-0 deficit might be a bit more devastating.

Both issues are considered essential tests of whether Kim is serious about negotiations.

Officials from Seoul who sat at the podium were Unification Minister Cho Myoung-gyon; Roh Tae-kang, second vice minister of culture, sports and tourism; Bang Yeul, head of the Korean Basketball Association; and a general director-level official from the Prime Ministers' Office.

The U.S. military would want to keep THAAD at least through the end of the denuclearization process, expected to take several years, analysts and former officials say.

Marking Pompeo's visit, expectations are that North Korea may deliver the remains of US troops killed during the 1950-53 Korean War, as promised in the joint statement at the June summit.

Although the talks have yielded nothing so far, Trump has spent the weeks since his summit celebrating it as a major success: "We signed a wonderful paper saying they're going to denuclearize their whole thing. Our policy toward North Korea has not changed, we're committed to a denuclearized North Korea".

The musical offering came at the behest of President Trump himself.

ABC News' Tara Palmieri reported Kim Yong Chol told Pompeo he would have to pay taxes for his frequent visits to North Korea. "I expect that [North Korea] is ready to do the same". "We are watching closely". North Korea may be looking at the possibility of holding a summit with the United States and other talks when the next World Economic Forum is held in January. He is due to meet officials from allies South Korea and Japan in Tokyo on Sunday.
