Trump to Bloomberg: Sessions' job is safe until at least November elections

Mr. Trump's Good Friend Jeff

Trump has repeatedly criticized Sessions' handling of the Justice Department, particularly after he recused himself from the Russian Federation investigation, and he suggested as recently as Thursday in an interview with Bloomberg that he could replace him after the midterms.

Republicans on Capitol Hill have been anxious the President would complicate Brett Kavanaugh's confirmation to the Supreme Court and place further controversy around the White House ahead of the midterm elections.

U.S. President Donald Trump, speaking to a raucous, campaign-style rally in IN, warned on Thursday that the Justice Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation must "start doing their job and doing it right" or "I will get involved".

Mr Trump said in a Twitter post on Saturday Mr Sessions, "doesn't understand what is happening underneath his command position". Jeff Sessions, then senator, was the third. But now the attorneys are becoming convinced Mueller will try to make the case regardless of what Trump decides to do with Sessions.

Malaysia women caned for attempting to have lesbian sex
The Malaysian Bar said the country should not tolerate caning in any form and should repeal all forms of corporal punishment. Same-sex relations are abhorred in Malaysia and considered illegal under both secular and religious laws.

But when Dickerson noted the president could fire a Cabinet member for any reason and asked if there is a substantive basis for firing Sessions, Graham brought up immigration. "He won't. He might get fired, but I don't think he'll quit".

Sessions, in a rare rebuttal, responded that he took control of the department the day he became attorney general and would not allow it to be "improperly influenced by political considerations". The Department of Justice needs a voice- that people in the White House will listen to, and the president needs a Cabinet he's confident in. This relationship has soured, and I'm not blaming Jeff.

"There's the belief that if the president taking action with respect to Sessions is going to be an important part of the Mueller obstruction case, most of that case has already been made", one source told Politico. Senator Lindsey Graham told reporters Tuesday, "Trump doesn't like him".
