Sorry Inbox Users, Google Is Shutting It Down

Google is Killing Inbox

"We'll be focusing on Gmail & saying bye to Inbox at the end of March 2019".

The reason behind the shut down is the recent updates to Gmail App. Gmail get the features like Smart Reply, Nudges and high-priority notifications recently.

Google says that it "learned a lot about how to make email better" from Inbox, and now with the "popular Inbox experiences" ported over to Gmail, the company wants to "focus exclusively on Gmail".

Google has announced that it will shut down its alternate mailing application "Inbox" in March 2019. Two other features - pinning emails and reminders - are also missing in Gmail. Gmail now has the same Smart Reply feature that is able to provide contextual suggestions based on the email received.

Google has finally chose to kill its "Inbox by Gmail" application by March next year.

Amazon's Jeff Bezos pledges £2bn to help deprived families
Bezos said Trump and other public figures should expect public and media scrutiny, which he called "healthy". At the time, he said he was interested in projects that address urgent need but also produce lasting impact.

"With respect to the upcoming Gmail announcement, there are no changes to Inbox by Gmail".

Until then, you can download Inbox for iOS and Android from both the App Store and Play Store for free. But fast-forward 30 years and with just the phone in your pocket, you can use email to contact virtually anyone in the world...from your best friend to the owner of that bagel shop you discovered last week.

Google has put together a transition guide for those finding themselves having to make the move back to Gmail. All of your correspondence already waiting for you in Gmail. For the individuals who use email through PC, Gmail, Tasks, and Keep can be handled as they are integrated with the new material design that is taking over all of Google's products - apps and web apps. Perhaps, we could yet see this feature added to the Gmail app in no-distant future.

Google said that it is making the change so it can focus exclusively on Gmail.
