Youtube is Back! Online Video Portal Restores Services After Major Outage

YouTube outage across the world company says working on resolving issue

The Google-owned video streaming service has acknowledged the issue. YouTube has had similar issues in the past, but they aren't common and rarely last as long as Tuesday's - more than 50 minutes.

If you'd been trying to access YouTube recently but couldn't, don't worry, you were not alone.

As the tweet by YouTube team indicates, it appears users weren't just experiencing issues with accessing YouTube's primary video platform, but also YouTube TV and YouTube Music. "We're working on resolving this and will let you know once fixed", the Team YouTube account says. What's missing is an explanation for what exactly happened to cause the outage.
